Even More Success for Lisburn Cadets!

This weekend (9th-11th December) saw a number of Lisburn Cadets attend a Basic Marine Engineering Course at TS Warrior, Sea Cadets Carrickfergus. Some of them have now asked to go on the Intermediate Course early next year (2 weekends).

Lisburn Sea Cadets are pleased to announce that they have been successful in getting a Defibrillator through a Sport Northern Ireland initiative. Although, initially, this will be held within the Unit, it is our aim to gain sponsorship (£500) to get a lockable cabinet to allow us (with the approval of the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council) to mount this outside the Bridge Community Centre and make it accessible to the Public 24/7...

2016 Mayors Parade

14 May 2016 - To celebrate The Queens 90th birthday, the Mayor or Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council themed his Annual Parade 'Crowns and Coronets'.  Lisburn Sea Cadets took part in the Parade to show off our new Trinity.

 

Lisburn receive their new Trinity 500 Rowing Boat

May 2016 - Due to the fantastic efforts of the Unit Management Committee, Staff, Cadets and Parents and Supporters, we have been able to purchase our own Trinity 500.

This is the new rowing boat, designed for Sea Cadets (in association with the RYA).

The boat cost £3100 (excluding delivery).
