Remembrance Sunday Parade

Hundreds fell silent across the town during the Remembrance Sunday parade and service to pay their respects to those who sacrificed their lives.

The Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, Cllr Sayanora Luxton, joined councillors, veterans, community groups and military cadet squadrons for the service on Sunday.

Official wreaths were laid at the foot of the Memorial Cross by the Vice Lord Lieutenant Mr Jeffery Branch at the war memorial outside the Town Hall in St Ives Road.

Maidenhead Sea Cadets were out in force as a Unit, displaying just some of the Values we hold dear to us.

Very well turned out and Smart.

POPPY COLLECTING

Well Done to All of the Cadets who supported the Royal British Legion Poppy appeal, by selling poppies in Maidenhead High Street on the 12th November, the day before Remembrance Sunday Parade.

GOOD NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT

1. We have been given our Out of Season Boating confirmation meaning we can get out and go boating in the winter time should we want to. More on this to come.

Maidenhead are very proud to say LC Garbett becoming the Lord Lieutenants Cadet for Berkshire district.

Well done, great achievement.

PO Kyle Davidson & PO Hart promotion

Well done to PO Kyle-Davidson and PO Hart on their promotion and getting their crowns to be a fully fledged Petty Officers in the Sea Cadet Corps.
