It's been a big month for qualifications with many more cadets booked up on Southern Area MACT next month! Cdt. 1st Taylor, AC O'Connell, Cdt. Quinn and POC Kyle-Davidson have achieved basic campcraft; Cdt. Holloway and Cdt. Myles have achieved basic mountain biking; Cdt. Finkemeyer achieved his BCU 1* award and JC Haugh and JC McCann achieved Paddlepower Start! POC Kyle-Davidson and Cdt. 1st Taylor have also completed their D of E Bronze Physical Section. Congratulations all!

AC O'Connell at NCR 2014!
AC O'Connell represented Southern Area at the National Combined Regatta at the Excel Centre, London yesterday. Although missing out on a medal, he showed great solid effort against tough and bulky opposition and we as a unit are very proud of him. Well Done!

DJ Sunil ran an amazing taster session on DJing and music making to our cadets this evening. A great experience with many funky tunes played!

LC Kyle-Davidson was promoted to a Petty Officer Cadet (the highest cadet rating in the Sea Cadets) today after attaining a credit pass on the LC-POC Qualifying Course at HMS Excellent (Portsmouth) this week. Congratulations!!!
