What's your story? Your experience in Lockdown as a Sea Cadet.

We have an exciting competition for any St Helens Sea Cadet who would like to enter. We would ask you to either come up with a poem or short story about your thoughts and feelings about Lockdown. If you would like to include pictures, this would also be welcomed.

The winner will receive a £15 gift voucher of your choice.
Feel free to be as creative as you like.

The closing date will be Monday 1st June 2020 with the winner announced on Friday 5th June 2020.

APPOINTMENT ON NEW EXECUTIVE OFFICER (XO) - TS SCI

We are delighted to appoint PO(SCC) Luke Simpson as the Executive Officer at St Helens Sea Cadets. PO(SCC) Luke Simpson has over 12 years experience as a Adult Volunteer at St Helens and we wish him all the very best in his new role.

We thank PO(SCC) Kevin Tinney for his time in the role and are pleased to see him remain with the unit.

APPOINTMENT OF NEW OFFICER-IN-CHARGE - TS SCIMITAR

We are pleased to announce the appointment of CPO (SCC) James Dillon as the new Officer In Charge of St Helens Unit. CPO(SCC) James Dillon has been involved in the unit for over 14 years as a Cadet Forces Adult Volunteer and we wish him the very best.

A warm thank you to S/LT(SCC) Anthony Bull RNR who has achieved so much for the unit during his 4 years in command which we will always be grateful. We are delighted that he will be remaining at the unit for the foreseeable future.

Over the coming the weeks we will be working with the new OIC to ensure we provide the best cadet experience we can during these difficult times. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our cadets and their families well and we are looking forward to seeing them again when it is safe to do so.
