Cadets & Staff visit the Battle of Britain Bunker

Cadets & Staff visit the Battle of Britain Bunker

Cadets and Staff had the privilege of visiting the historic Battle of Britain Bunker, located on a former Royal Air Force Base in Uxbridge. This remarkable site, which played a pivotal role in the defense of Britain during World War II, provided an immersive and educational experience for all.

During the visit, cadets explored the underground operations room, where critical decisions were made during the Battle of Britain in 1940. They gained a deeper understanding of how RAF Fighter Command coordinated air defense, witnessing firsthand the meticulous planning and communication that took place in this very bunker.

The trip offered a unique opportunity to reflect on the bravery and dedication of those who served, reinforcing the importance of history in shaping our present and future. It was an inspiring and insightful experience that left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

SWIMARATHON 2025

Our cadets and PO Hodgson participated in the Maidenhead Lions Swimarathon on 12th January. Super proud of them as they completed 65 lengths; which is higher than the previous year.

All raised funds go to great causes in Maidenhead and half of what we raise goes to our amazing unit to help us continue doing what we do best. Thank you to all who sponsored us for this event.
