Congratulations to all our Cadets who participated in the Wessex District Sailing Regatta today. The first time this has been held at Poole, and what a great day it was with a lovely breeze and great competition.

We had a full entry in all classes and our Cadets performed well against very good competition from other Units around the District. Many are going forward to the Southern Area Regatta in July, including L/Cpl Oli who won the Pico class today.

Unit Camp 2024

Unit Camp 2024

What a great week we have had at Cleavel Point in Poole Harbour. This was our 48th Annual Camp here. The weather was mostly dry, with some rain and a lot of wind. Unfortunately, the wind curtailed a few of the activities at times, but we accomplished a huge amount in the week.

Whilst living under canvas for the week, we completed a huge amount of qualifications from those who were boating for the first time to those more advanced, including RYA Day Sailing and RYA Start Racing Modules.

Well done to everyone involved, for organising, taking part and making it such a great week and the highlight of our year, as it always is.
