We had 6 cadets and 2 adults that went away a District drill and ceremonial training weekend. Well done to the 6 cadets, PO (SCC) Hearn and PPO (SCC) Burchett who attended the weekend.

8 September 2019This weekend we had 5 instructors away on a area training weekend to gain some new skills and revalidate some others.
PPO Burchett has completed the L&D core module
Lt Cdr Grainge revalidated his advanced seamanship instructor qualification
PO Hearn, PPO Quinn and Mrs Hodgson have all passed assessments for activity first aid
A fantastic result!

Wow what a great week last week!
The Unit had a fantastic time away at SCTC Weymouth, taking 4 adults and 10 Cadets to undertake Powerboating, Rock Cimbing, Rowing, Sailing and much more!
All in all the Unit has achieved 30+ Qualifications, including Modules, Tasters, Basic and Intermediate awards
